This Nissan Figaro got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1991 Nissan Figaro is a Japanese-market fixed-roof convertible that was imported to the US and was acquired by the current owner in 2020. The car is finished in Lapis Grey over Creme leather and is powered by a turbocharged 987cc inline-four paired with a three-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes a retractable white fabric top on fixed pillars as well as a CD player, air conditioning, a cassette stereo, and 12″ wheels with white and chrome covers. This Figaro shows 135k kilometers (~84k miles) and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve with a clean New Jersey title in the owner’s name.

Based on the Nissan Micra, the Figaro was offered in four colors to represent the different seasons. This “Winter” example is finished in Lapis Grey (7K0) and features a white roof, a roll-back soft top, twin exhaust outlets, and bright trim and bumpers. The seller reports the rear bumper was replaced. Corrosion is visible on the roof and front bumper, and additional flaws such as paintwork on the left quarter panel, rips in the soft top, and dents and scuffs along the body are shown up-close in the photo gallery.

The 12″ steel wheels wear white disc covers with chrome hubcaps and are mounted with 155/80 Bridgestone Sneaker tires. The suspension consists of front MacPherson struts and an independent four-link rear setup with coil springs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats with adjustable headrests as well as a two-place rear bench upholstered in Creme leather. Interior amenities include a Japanese-market cassette stereo, a CD player, power windows, and air conditioning. The seller states the radio was upgraded to play US stations and that the dashboard was repaired and refinished, and the dashboard pad was replaced under current ownership. Wear is visible on the seats, and the carpeting.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 180-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 135k kilometers (~84k miles), approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The turbocharged 987cc MA10ET inline-four was factory rated at 75 horsepower and 78 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes the battery terminal was replaced to accommodate an American battery and may need to be jumped after being parked for extended periods of time.

The transverse engine drives the front wheels through a three-speed automatic transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
