John Cho and Kal Penn, a.k.a. dynamic duo Harold and Kumar, recently reunited while en route to an event at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for Hillary Clinton. No word on whether they made a pit stop at a White Castle.

The stars of the stoner comedy took to Twitter and posted the same photo of Kal Penn talking on the phone in the back seat of a car with two different captions. Cho wrote that his former costar was “calling his ‘agent’ to discuss ‘important business matters'” while Penn claimed to be talking to his kids about “important Yom Kippur stuff.”

Penn is no stranger to the political scene, having served as an Associate Director in the White House Office of Public Engagement during President Obama’s first term. He and his Designated Survivor costars even took a break during filming recently to watch the vide presidential debate between Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Cho may not have the White House on his résumé, but he has served the Federation as a member of the Star Trek cast. He spoke this summer on the comparison between his Star Trek Beyond and the current state of U.S. politics, telling The A.V. Club, “Star Trek seems to be an appeal to our better nature, the side of ourselves that works toward peace and cooperation and understanding and knowledge and yearns to seek out knowledge rather than the side that wants to divide and control one another.”

See the two tweets from Cho and Penn below.

Here’s hoping the person on the other end of that phone was suggesting a new adventure in the Harold and Kumar series.
