Hollyoaks shares first look photos as Kieron Richardson returns to his role as Ste Hay
Hollyoaks has released new photos showing Kieron Richardson back on set.
His fan favourite character Ste Hay has been off screens since November last year when Kieron took some well-deserved time off.
Viewers last saw Ste when he left the village following his far-right extremism storyline to stay with a friend in Newcastle.
The break has been made slightly longer than the actor thought it would be due to the show suspending filming amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Kieron told Digital Spy in April that his looking forward to getting back into Ste's tracksuits for a "fresh start" in the village.
He said: "I hope Ste has changed. I think that's the beauty of it. Because the audience hasn't seen Ste, he could have been up to anything over the past few months.
"I'd like to think that Ste has had time to reflect and think about the situation that he put himself in last year. Hopefully he has learned from that.

"It'd be nice to come back with a fresh start. I want him back in his tracksuits and in the heart of the village again.
"I'm not bothered about being in the biggest story of the year – I quite like working with different actors, who I don't usually get the chance to share scenes with."
Ste will be back on screens later this year.
Hollyoaks returns with all-new episodes on Monday, September 7 at 6.30pm on Channel 4, followed by a first-look episode at 7pm on E4.
