later afternoon light swooping pass

Caught this shot in the later afternoon low light, of a Swainson’s hawk swooping down at a local farmers field near Calgary. The Swainson’s hawk inhabits North America mainly in the spring and summer and winters in South America. I love shooting these bird of prey especially when the lighting is nice. This can take some real patience and persistence.
