Former Home and Away star Esther Anderson announces she's expecting her second child with husband Howard Moggs: 'Soon to be four!'

Former Home and Away star Esther Anderson has announced she's expecting her second child with husband Howard Moggs.

The actress, 42, who is already a proud mother to three-year-old son Forest, shared a sonogram and a photo of her growing family to her Instagram page on Saturday. 

'The 3 of us….soon to be 4!!!!' she excitedly captioned the post.

'We are so excited we have another mini moggs on the way. Forry's big brother duties starting September!!!' Esther continued.

The former soap star shared a photo of herself embracing son Forest, while husband Howard nestled in close to take the sweet family selfie.

Esther also posted a sonogram, and is yet to reveal the baby's gender.

Her celebrity friends and former Home and Away co-stars were quick to offer their well wishes in the comments section.

'Brilliant, congratulations darling,' Georgie Parker wrote, while Rebecca Breeds added, 'Yes Mamma!!! So happy and excited for you guys!!!' 

Esther welcomed her first child, son Forest in August 2018, sharing a sweet photo of the newborn to her Instagram page at the time.

'The love of our lives. Our darling boy Forest Jack Moggs is here and arrived weighing 8.5lbs. We couldn't be more in love with this beautiful little soul,' she wrote.  

Esther announced she was expecting her first child with her husband, British advertising executive Howard, back in April 2018. 

She told New Idea at the time: 'We're not spring chickens but we're so ready for parenthood!'

'We weren't actually trying the month I got pregnant, because I had a movie role. However, baby wanted to come join us!' she said. 

'I was five months pregnant by the time we finished the film, so they were shooting around me.'

The Gold Logie nominee added that she was in 'absolute shock and disbelief' when her pregnancy test returned a positive result.

'I didn't believe it at first, so I had to do another test. It was mind-blowing!' she said. 

Esther is best known for playing Charlie Buckton on Channel Seven soap Home and Away from 2008 until 2012.
