The Walking Dead favourites Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan are back for the Negan and Maggie-focused spin-off Isle of the Dead.
Filming for the series, which sees the characters visiting an overrun Manhattan, started in June. Now we've got a photo from the set, showing the duo... looking very much like Negan and Maggie and not much else, to be honest.

But do you know what, not knowing all that much about the spin-off at this time is fine. We've still got the final season of the parent show to go first, and once that wraps up, we're sure it won't be long before we start getting tons of juicy details about the various spin-offs that are in the works.
Beyond Isle of the Dead, we've got a series focused on Daryl, and one focused on Rick and Michonne that was originally announced as a set of movies. Don't forget the recently-premiered anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead, which follows the backstories of various characters, and good-old Fear the Walking Dead.
Back when Isle was first unveiled, the TV franchise's boss Scott M Gimple shared a statement that read: "Eli [Jorné, showrunner] has created a chaotic, beautiful, grimy madhouse of the dead for Negan, Maggie, and fans of the show eager to discover an unseen and insane world of the TWD Universe.

"Lauren and Jeffrey have always been fantastic collaborators and now, we bring that collaboration to the next level with a series that will take these characters to their limits with the world – and each other. All of us are thrilled to take you on an all new, all different TWD epic for the ages."
