Correct Tire Size for the RA
I have an '05 RA which I got used about 2 years ago. When I got the car, it had 17 inch rims with 215/45 tires. They rubbed everywhere, even the rear ones when I passed a bump or anything like it. I decided to go back to the stock rims (which the previous owner, my cousin, still had) just to avoid this, but I wanted 17 inch wheels.
I started reading about it, and many people said to use 205/40, so I went with it. Yes, they looked good and the wheels looked bigger, but I mounted them on the car, they seemed a bit small for the fender size. I went back to stock rims again and started looking for more info. I decided to buy another style of 17 inch rims and sold the ones with the 205/40 tires. I found a set of used 17" OZ rims that were on a Honda Prelude. This car had 215/40 which looked OK for the rim size.
I found an iPhone app that's a tire size calculator which let me put my current tire size (I used the stock size) and the one I wanted to change to. The app showed differences in height, width and speedometer calibration. When I compared with the 205/40 and the 215/45, there were big differences in all of these. The closest values I could find to the stock size were on the 215/40.
When I got the OZ rims with the 215/40(tires were damaged but they could be filled with air), I filled the tires and tested space and everything looked good, so I got a new set of the 215/40 and that's what I've been running with ever since.

What tire size do you have? If you got 18"-20" let us know as well, and if you can show pics, even better.
