Dudley's Lenny Henry cosies up to Dawn French lookalike girlfriend
Dudley's Lenny Henry has been cosying up to girlfriend Lisa Makin – who bears an uncanny resemble to his ex-wife Dawn French.
With her bobbed brown hair, Lisa looks like the double of Dawn, whom Lenny was married to for 25 years before the pair split in 2010.
Comic Lenny, aged 57, and Lisa were pictured at an event to celebrate one of the country's greatest theatres, London's The Young Vic, on Monday night.
Sir Lenny and his girlfriend, a 46-year-old theatre producer, showed their faces at the Young Vic Forever Young Gala, alongside a host of other fellow famous folk from across the acting world.
The couple have been dating each other since 2013 and Lenny opted for a suave look when he donned a dark blue three-piece suit, which he teamed with a smart white shirt and grey and black tie. He completed the outfit with a pair of black lace-up brogues while sporting a pair of fashionable black spectacles.
Meanwhile, Lisa looked classy in a v-neck black midi dress, featuring silver studs all over.
Absolutely Fabulous! star Jane Horrocks, award-winning actress Sheila Hancock and Jude Law were also among the stars on hand to show their support for the theatre at the event Sir Lenny dedicated his knighthood from the Queen in December to the people of Dudley.
He said: "It's a wonderful honour, it's for them and the people of Dudley and my family."
