Buh Bye, Ugly Feet: Meet My New Pedi Secret

The weather hasn't gotten chilly in New York yet, but I assume winter is still planning to arrive eventually. I don't mind the cold, but my feet sure do. My toes get parched and chalky, and the skin on my heels gets so dry it cracks. Weekly pedicures help, but I've been cutting back on those in order to save money. Luckily, I recently found my miracle foot cure.

Celebrity foot-spiration: Reese Witherspoon's pretty pedi.

Twice a day, I apply Kerasal cream to my feet, and it has made a

huge

difference. The secret: This formula contains both salicylic acid and urea, two "keratolytic" ingredients that dermatologists recommend for exfoliating especially stubborn dry skin (another one to look for is lactic acid). It only took about two weeks for me to see a visible difference. Usually, I have to pumice or file my feet several times a week to keep them smooth, but now, I hardly have to do it at all. Even the cuticles around my toenails look so smooth. Below are more products that contain these miracle ingredients; just be careful to follow the instructions, since they can cause irritation if used improperly (for example, my bottle says not to rub the cream between my toes).

Does anyone else out there have high-maintenance feet? Are you still swearing by your Ped-Eggs? Got any other new foot tricks we can try out before dry-skin season?
