next spring! The former editor of one of my all-time favorite magazines, Mademoiselle, will be writing a book all about emulating Mrs. Obama's signature style. Avon is publishing it, and their spokesperson tells the gossip column, "Not since Jackie O have we had a first lady become a fashion icon. Michelle Obama will be one of history's most vibrant first ladies; she has a distinctive style that every American woman can aspire to, whether the consumer is a Target shopper or some one more likely to be found on Miracle Mile."

It seems like every C-list celebrity with an Amex card and a decent publicist is trying to get in on the fashion game, but this is one incidence where I truly think she deserves it. I love this woman's wardrobe, and I can't wait to find out more about it. Check out some of Michelle Obama's best looks from the political season: Fashion forward in Thakoon, laid back in H&M, working it in Narciso Rodriguez, and giving a shout out to J. Crew on the Leno show!

What do you guys think about the upcoming Michelle Obama style guide? Will you check it out? And do you adore her style as much as I do?
