Our favourite way of using smoked garlic is mixed into butter and spread generously on some baguette to create the most luxurious garlic bread.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Mash the butter, garlic and chopped parsley in a medium-sized bowl along with a pinch of sea salt. Spread generously all over the two cut halves of the baguette.

  3. Place the buttered baguette on a lined baking tray and grate the Parmesan all over.

  4. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown all over.

  5. Serve alongside some spaghetti bolognese or lasagne.

  • 200g butter, softened

  • Big handful of flat leaf parsley, roughly chopped

  • 1 good sourdough baguette, cut in half horizontally

  • 4 cloves of smoked garlic, crushed

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • 100g Parmesan, finely grated
