Irish Influencers Ellie Kelly and Charleen Murphy have hit a career milestone with two sold-out shows of Hold My Drink Live at Liberty Hall theatre.
The social media personalities and bloggers launched their very own GoLoud original podcast Hold My Drink back in 2021.
Dubliner’s Ellie and Charleen share co-host duties on their joint venture that saw both Irish stars move into the area of podcasting, by putting out a weekly episode as part of their series, with the first episode airing on October 13th, 2021.
Their podcast was an instant hit and reached Number 1 in the Irish Podcast Charts within one hour of it's release.
At the time, Charleen shared in an Instagram post, “We have been working on this concept for the longest time and I can’t believe you actually get to hear it now, @elliekellyy is the perfect podcast partner, and I’m so excited for this lil adventure together.”
The podcast is produced by 98fm presenter, Leanne Hanafin, and the live show was proudly presented by Primark.
The stage was kitted out with neon lights, and fit for the occasion.
The girls podcast channels the vibe of a girls group chat and aims to help listeners with their love life, insecurities, fashion fails and general dilemmas with plenty of craic thrown in too.
Two nights at Liberty Hall theatre saw the girls host a live version of the Hold My Drink! Podcast to a sold-out audience two nights in a row.
Filled with lots of laughs and craic, the girls put on two show-stopping nights as they took to the stage in matching glamorous attire, and entertained the room.
Hold My Drink with Charleen and Ellie promises to give a unique insight into the lives of two social media stars that influence an entire generation of young people in Ireland.
The podcast is the platform where the girls have shared snippets into their own experiences, the girls talk about love, relationships, the rise of cosmetic surgery in Ireland, break-ups, Charleen’s story on her Love Island audition experience, and the role social media has played, and the difficulty of life in public.
Who is Ellie?
Ellie Kelly, 27, is a professional makeup artist, YouTuber, beauty and fashion blogger from Dublin.
She has over 292,000 followers on Instagram, and 93,000 followers on TikTok.
The influencer regularly posts a variety of updates on her day to day activities, sharing her insight on makeup, fashion and lifestyle.
Ellie is with premiere marketing agency, Icon Management, who described the star as ‘devoted to her work’, with her ‘authenticity, outgoing personality and stellar content winning her a group of followers who adore her.’
Ellie has ventured into business, and has launched her own range of premium sunglasses, ‘EK eyewear’.
The star is highly popular with brands, and has had partnerships with Pretty Little Thing, KASH Beauty, BPerfect, Platinum Luxury Hair Extensions, Brown Thomas, Daniel Wellington, Nastygal, Laura Mercier, Flormar, JD Sports.
The star also announced she has been nominated twice in the Beauty over 50k category, The Hayu Stellar InstaSTAR awards 2022, which honour the best and brightest in Irish content creation across the social media landscape.
Commenting on the successful sold-out shows, Ellie shared a stunning photo from night one, and thanked those who attended the shows.

Who is Charleen?
Charleen Murphy, 24, is a fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle blogger from Dublin who creates content for her 162,000 followers on Instagram, and 125,400 TikTok followers.
Charleen previously shared that she had graduated with a degree, and posts content on travel, fashion, lifestyle, and beauty.
The beauty is also with premiere marketing agency Icon Management.
The Dubliners unique, and chic style has led to successful collaborations with some of the biggest brands in fashion today, with past partnerships including Pretty Little Thing, Club L London, Perfect cosmetics, her own edit - Easilocks X Charleen, KASH Beauty, and more.
Taking to Instagram after the two live show’s Charleen thanked fans for making the shows magical, and said she couldn’t wait for the next.
