Toilet Cubicles - What are my options?

What materials can you choose from?

BRAC Projects cubicles are made out of either:

• 19 mm MR melamine
• 18 mm MR MDF with 0.9 laminate on both sides

Both of these materials provide exceptional workmanship and excellent hygiene. We design our cubicles so there is no space along the edges for things to collect, and no sealants for mould or fungi to grow.

The 19mm MR melamine material is largely used in low traffic areas to provide durability and privacy. It's suitable in places that don't see a lot of people coming and going at all times. You can order this in a variety of colours, making it easy to align it with your brand. 

The difference with our laminate offering is that it is slightly more durable. Not only that, but the addition of the two-sided lamination makes it more water-resistant. This means it's a better option in steamy or wet environments - like gyms, leisure facilities, etc. The benefit of the material being stronger and more durable is that it's useful in settings where cubicle doors might get slammed and there's lots of constant usage. A good example of this is in a public toilet setting where loads of people come and go every single day. Again, you also get a choice of colour schemes to align with your brand image or the interior design theme you're going for. 

To briefly summarise, the 19 mm MR melamine is useful in low traffic areas without many people coming and going, mainly in dry environments. The 18 mm MR MDF with 0.9 laminate is better suited for heavy traffic areas that are often humid or wet.
