Cowboy Bebop, the cult Japanese sci-fi animated series, has finally been given the long-awaited liveaction treatment, with John Cho playing intergalactic bounty hunter Spike Spiegel.
John is joined by Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine.
Set in the year 2071, the original series followed the trio of bounty hunters as they travelled through space on the titular ship, hunting targets and confronting personal demons. The series ran for just 26 episodes but became enormously popular in Japan and with Western audiences.
The action-packed, live-action adaptation consists of 10 episodes written by Marvel Comics writer Christopher Yost.

Apart from releasing a trailer and some photos, Netflix has kept a tight lid on the adaptation but John says it’s pretty cool.
