The Antec Performance series has run for quite some time. The series was one of high end developments, the full SOHO size case combined with various adjustments to the cooling system and the amount of room available for expansion. Through the years the case has developed in various ways through the additons of vented sidepanels, different intake/exhaust setups, different drive cages, different dimensions and more. Finally the Performance One line debuted and with it the first step towards a new level of performance came with the P160.
Today we look at the new evolution for the company in terms of how they design and make cases perform with the Antec P180. The case comes in as a Super Mid Tower design and offers quite a huge amount of space within.
Check out the spec sheet from Antec for full details on the case design.

As many will notice a PSU is not included with the case. Antec recommends their SmartPower 500, Phantom series, Neo/NeoHE series or TruePower 2.0 series power supplies. For this application though I went with a first generation Antec TrueControl 550w PSU
With the details out lets get moving and see what this has to offer.
