On Sunday night, Esther said she “isn’t taking this time with Ralph for granted” following her three-year-old son Forest’s traumatic birth in 2018.

“Forest went straight into the NICU for a week after his birth and I just remember having to leave him at the hospital (after my standard 2 days in America was up) and us having to drive home without our baby,” she shared.

“It was one of the hardest moments I’ve ever had and went against every cell in my body. I’m not taking this time with Ralph for granted for a minute.”

The actress said her birth with Ralph was “such a healing experience” and she’s incredibly grateful her family could all be together this time around.

Esther’s former Home and Away castmates sent their well-wishes, with Georgie Parker commenting: “Just so beautiful Esther. So happy for you and your family ❤️🙌”

Summer Bay alum Christie Hayes wrote: “Beautiful photos honey and so happy for you all. Thinking of you Mummy,” while Ada Nicodemou penned “What a blessing ❤️❤️.”

Esther, who played Charlie Buckton on Home and Away for four years, left the soap for good in 2013. She moved to Hollywood where she met her now-husband, advertising executive Howard Moggs.

Esther and Howard, who tied the knot in 2017, welcomed their first child Forest a year later.

The Aussie actress previously said there’s many things she misses about living in Australia, and hasn’t ruled out moving home to raise Forest Down Under.

“There is still a part of me that would love to be close to my family, and Howard is definitely open to living in Australia at some point,” she said.
