The beloved franchise about horror fandom is back with yet another sequel to Wes Craven’s original.
The 2022 “Scream” film brought back Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette, who starred in the franchise’s first movie. They spoke to The Times about what their reunion was like.
In “Scream VI,” Sam and Tara Carpenter (Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega), the sisters who became Ghostface’s target in the 2022 reboot, have moved to New York. While trying to travel downtown, the stars are trapped on a jam-packed Halloween commute with multiple riders wearing the Edvard Munch-ian masks and black robes that have become a hallmark of these movies.
The film’s directors talked to The Times about creating and filming that tension-filled sequence.
