Tear we go on Seoige’s ‘beautiful’ wedding day
GRAINNE Seoige wept tears of joy during her fairytale Christmas wedding to Leon Jordaan.
It was bride and joy for the RTE host as pictures of her big day at the five-star Cliff at Lyons in Co
Kildare have been revealed.
She told RSVP Magazine:
“I had moments where I teared up because the ceremony was so beautiful.
“A friend Shoshana
Dunne wrote this beautiful love story for the wedding.
“Everybody in the room got to hear how we met and how our relationship progressed.” And Grainne told how the atmospheric day was made by “intimate” emotional touches.
She added: “It was a space covered in gold and statues, it was stone walls, glass and greenery in the middle of winter.”
Grainne walked down the aisle to Mna na heireann during the star-studded ceremony while the first dance was to “touching” ballad Diamonds by Shane Mcgrath.
We bet it really was a gem of a celebration.
