Prof. Dr. Hans Peter Schwintowski

As a lawyer and proven expert specializing, among other things, in energy law, commercial and corporate law, and European law, Prof. Dr. Schwintowski is active at numerous institutes in Germany. Especially through his position as scientific director and managing director of the EWeRK - Institute for Energy and Competition Law in the Municipal Economy at the Humboldt University in Berlin - he was able to distinguish himself as an expert and central contact person for all-embracing topics (energy supply and change, regulatory and legal development topics, sustainability in the taxonomy regulation and the greenhouse gas quota) in the emission-intensive energy and utility sector. He is in constant and close contact with the participating industry, trade and regulatory authorities as well as the BMWK (Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection).

In addition to several supervisory and advisory board functions, he is co-editor of various trade and industry journals for the energy and insurance sectors. Until 2010, he was an insurance advisory board member of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority.

Prof. Dr. Schwintowski supports Silva Viridis with his expertise, experience and knowledge in regulatory legal and business topics in emissions trading, with a focus on the energy and emissions-intensive industries and the insurance sector - both sectors for which sustainability (ESG) and CO₂ neutrality are a central and increasingly important issue. In addition to his skills and industry expertise, his network in the relevant industries (energy and insurance) strengthens us; he is in close exchange to develop and offer innovative, legally compliant and industry-oriented solutions for our customers and partners.

Prof. Dr. Graciela Chichilnisky

In addition to multiple university stations such as at Havard and Columbia University in various chair functions, Professor Dr. Graciela Chichilnisky is a high-ranking expert with PhDs in the fields of mathematics and of economics. She has particularly distinguished herself in environmental economics and, in addition to helping by authoring in the COP the intergovernmental emissions trading in the Kyoto Protocol, has been instrumental in shaping global but especially European emissions trading. She served as a lead author of the "Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change" (IPCC) representing the US which was honored with the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. The terms “basic needs” and "sustainable development" is partly attributed to her.
In addition to holding a number of executive and board positions in numerous companies and continuing as a faculty member at prestigious institutions, she was until 2022 CEO and co-founder of Global Thermostat LLC, one of the leading companies in the field of "Direct Air Capture" technology.
For Silva Viridis she is a key person especially in the field of international emissions trading and strengthens the company with her knowledge, expertise and reputation.

Ricardo Brehme

Ricardo has 10 years of experience in the real estate investment sector. Prior to founding Axeris Capital AG, he was Managing Director of one of Europe's leading real estate mezzanine funds, where he was mainly responsible for investment solutions, structuring and fundraising.

Philip Rutovitz

In November of 2021, Philip Rutovitz joined Amicorp Netherlands as Managing Director. Philip holds an MBA from Hartford and a BA in Mathematical Economics and Computer Science from Wesleyan University. He is a CFA® Charter holder, Certified Trust Officer and a Professional Scrum Master.
Philip is a finance professional with an IT background. At Amicorp, in addition to working with traditional corporates looking to expand in Europe, he works especially with companies looking to set up ESG funds or issue green bonds. He is also very focused on carbon credits and transition finance.
Before joining Amicorp, Philip was an independent consultant for two years working with blockchain projects and project finance. Before that he worked for TMF overseeing the Netherlands Capital Markets desk, responsible for the operational management of 250+ SPV structures and built-up loan servicing and fund administration in the Netherlands.
Further experience includes working for TMF as their Global Operations Manager for Structured Finance out of Germany as well as founding a company developing securitization software and consulting. Other roles include fund performance measurement (LGT Asset Management) and quantitative value-based portfolio management (NatWest Investment Management).

Diego Pesciatini

Diego Pesciatini is CEO at Amicorp Management Services, a global services company in the financial industry with more than 30 locations worldwide. He advises internationally active companies on how to expand their businesses while complying with regulations, laws and compliance guidelines.

With more than 20 years of experience in the global marketplace, one of his main focuses is helping companies and investors meet their objectives, particularly in the area of sustainability (ESG). By structuring investment vehicles and working with some of the leading companies in this field, he is committed to reducing the environmental footprint of Amicorp Group and its clients as much as possible through the Amicorp Community Foundation project.

For Silva Viridis, his financial expertise and years of experience make him an essential advisor and support in finding solutions to relevant challenges in finance and investment, such as: "Investing in compliance with ESG criteria". But also the development of ESG compliant and "green" products, targeted for the institutional financial market, is a core area he covers together with us.

Volker Wendland

Volker Wendland has been at the helm of internationally operating companies since 1995. As a member of the board of iwp Consulting Group AG, he embarked on the path to renewable energies at an early stage. After a successful career in industry, he has since successfully supported numerous companies in this field as a consultant, investor and advisory board member. In addition to chairing the advisory board of MOWEA - Modulare Windenergie GmbH in Berlin - his current involvement is the entrepreneurial participation in Sonnenernte GmbH. The company operates, develops and finances the use of renewable energies. The focus is on the planning, construction and operation of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems. The full-blooded entrepreneur sees the entry into non-publicly subsidized free-field photovoltaics as a sustainable contribution to climate neutrality. It is important to him that the entrepreneurial risk in these energy projects is not offloaded onto the backs of taxpayers or consumers. With his many years of experience in managing companies, Volker Wendland supports the fortunes of Silva Viridis GmbH not only as an imaginative innovator and business developer. His entrepreneurial network, his overarching experience and knowledge of all aspects of renewable energies and their potential uses also help to drive his own company's development forward in a dynamic and efficient manner.

Thomas Bloch

As a graduate engineer (Dipl. -Ing. Maschinenbau) and expert in the fields of sustainability, energy and consulting, Thomas Bloch has, in addition to technical knowledge, many years of experience and expertise at the municipal and corporate level in the areas of sustainability concepts and strategies, mobility management, energy and emissions balancing, and climate protection conceptualization. In addition to various leadership and management positions, including in the municipal utility environment and at an international consulting firm for sustainable energy supply strategies, he also worked for many years in the accompanying research of the BMWI (Federal Ministry of Economics and Innovation) on a research program in sustainable and energy-efficient urban development.

Since 2016, he has continued to work with ewko-Thomas Bloch Consulting and as managing director of ECOSPEED Deutschland GmbH, focusing on sustainability concepts and strategies, mobility management, energy and emissions balancing, climate protection conceptualization and energy audits for numerous municipalities, business, energy and utility companies.

With his many years of experience and expertise at the municipal and corporate level in the relevant sustainability and climate topics, he accompanies Silva Viridis and its departments not only in terms of technical content at the project level, but also in customer-specific external communication.
