But the long-serving former 007 actor Pierce Brosnan did bear an uncanny likeness to Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams during filming in London on Wednesday.

The 62-year-old actor may well have looked to Northern Ireland for inspiration from the Irish republican as he is playing an ex-IRA member turned government official named Liam Hennessy in the as-yet untitled thriller.
