But it has been a while since Grainne was on Irish screens - here's everything you need to know about her.

WHO IS GRAINNE SEOIGE?

Grainne was born on November 5, 1973, making her 48 years old.

She is originally from Spiddal in Galway and is a sister to Sile, Cian and Eamon Seoige.

She and Sile teamed up to become some of the best known presenters on Irish television.

WHAT IS SHE FAMOUS FOR?

As one of the most recognisable faces on screen over the last twenty-five years, Gráinne Seoige began her broadcasting career on TG4 in 1996 hosting news bulletins.

After a stint with Sky News Ireland in 2004, Gráinne left news and became a mainstay on RTÉ hosting numerous programmes including The All Ireland Talent Show, Seoige and O’Shea, Crimecall, Up for the Match and Put ‘Em Under Pressure.

More recently, Gráinne moved to South Africa to focus on her diamond business venture before she moved back to Ireland and is living in her home county of Galway.

WHO IS SHE MARRIED TO?

Grainne, 47, and her husband Leon Jordaan got married in 2019 in a private ceremony in Ireland.

She and the South African rugby coach met when they were 38 years old before they tied the knot years later.

The former TV3 star explained that she is delighted that she met Leon later in life as they both weren't playing any games.

Grainne said: "I really am lucky that I met the love my life a little big later. We were both 38 when we met and, at that age you are not game playing."

Grainne was previously married to former TV3 colleague and long-term partner Stephen Cullinane; they divorced in 2010.

Grainne welcomed a son called Conall when she was 20 but she rarely talks about him in the media.

DANCING WITH THE STARS

Grainne ended her run on Dancing With The Stars on February 27 with the lowest combined points from the judges' and public vote.

There was little suspense about who would be going home when she ended up in a dance off with rugby star Jordan Conroy.

After the show, Grainne told The Irish Sun: "I feel like I went out on my high I enjoyed my second dance more than the first one. Then you go up against Jordan, hello? I know I danced my very best. That is all you can do."

The 48-year-old said she was looking forward to spending time with husband Leon Jordaan and her dog.

She said: "I have had the best time in years. It's been a wonderful experience. I always wanted to learn to dance. I wanted an experience and I certainly had one."
