Matthew McConaughey posted a rare photo of his daughter, Vida, and it's fair to say that she takes after he mother, Camilla Alves, instead of him.
The Dallas Buyers Club star, aged 54, became a parent to Vida in 2010 and she is his middle child after he fathered Levi, aged 15, and Livingston, aged 11.
"To Vida, who never passed a flower she didn't pick, Happy Birthday," McConaughey said, posting a snap of the teenager onto Instagram for her 14th birthday. "*A day late because my mobile device flew out of my pocket on the roller coaster loop at her birthday yesterday!*"
It was a rare moment as the two parents, who are still married after tying the knot in 2012, as they keep their children firmly out of the public eye.
In fact, they only released a photo of Levi for the first time in July 2023 and now with Vida being shown at a similar age, perhaps 14 is the number they have decided is comfortable enough to let the world see them.

The Interstellar star is one of the more popular Hollywood actors thanks for his ability to masterfully execute every role regardless of how much screentime he gets as evidenced by his brief stint in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street and his starring role in Nolan's 2014 space epic.
His next project is expected to be released in 2024 and is the third part of a universe centered around a drama called Yellowstone. Not the national park, but a ranch in Montana owned by the Dutton family.
It had prequels titled 1883 and 1923 and now the third spin-off, with McConaughey, is titled 6666 although nobody knows which time period it will be set in just yet.
"[Matthew] seems like a natural fit," Taylor Sheridan said to The Hollywood Reporter. "We had a few conversations over the years and spitballed a few ideas.
"Then he started watching Yellowstone and responded to it. He was like, 'I want to do that.' And by 'that' he meant diving into a raw world clashing up against the modern world. And then I said, 'Buddy, that we can do.'"
