Oct 14, 2008 - Sheikpur Gowah, Uttar Pradesh, India - MAN SINGH, center, who operated as a dacoit with bandit queen late Phoolan Devi. Their gang they killed 21 men in a nearby village in 1981 in retribution for the rape of Phoolan Devi, and the killing of her boyfriend Vikram Mallah. Singh and Phoolan served 14 years imprisonment and today he is a rich man owning petrol pumps, trucks, and livestock markets. Here he is surrounded by his bodyguards.
